RecipePress reloaded

Widgets

RecipePress reloaded currently offers two widgets: Tag Cloud and Taxonomy List.

Tag Cloud widget

Tag Cloud widgetAlthough it looks a bit complex on the first look it’s really easy to use. Once meant to create a tag cloud for all your ingredients this widget can create a tag cloud for any taxonomy used on any post type.

Parameters

Actually you only need the first two. All others can be used to fine tune the look and feel of the output.

  • Title: You can give your widget a head line. Leave it empty to only display the cloud.
  • Taxonomy: Choose the taxonomy you want to use from the list of all active taxonomies.
  • Format: Either out put a flat list (default) – all terms wrapped together in a single >p<-Tag or a list – each tag put in list item <li>. Important only if you want to adjust css-styles.
  • Order: Order the terms either ascending, descending or randomly by the field defined below.
  • Orderby: Field to order the terms by. Choose from name and count.
  • Number: Limit the number of terms being displayed. The default setting 0 means all terms will be displayed.
  • Largest: Size of the most used term on display.
  • Smallest: Size of the least used term on display.
  • Unit: Unit the above defined sizes should be measured in. Choose between pt, px, em and %.
  • Separator: Define a separator to be displayed between terms.
